What Started as a Dream
In 2017 I had the joy of studying abroad in Oman, enrolled in an intensive Arabic language program. There I fell in love with a language, a culture, a people, and a landscape. Since that time it has been a dream to design a game informed by my study and love of Oman.

Muttrah’s iconography is inspired by common goods traded during the height of the Omani Empire, utilizing a muted palette, and Icons which will read well for a game with small components.
